Second Party: Catherine and Elizabeth Green, both spinsters of Hammersmith, Middlesex.
In consideration of the sum of £400 paid to William Levinz the elder by (2), demise from (1) to (2) for 300 years of the manors of Bilby and Ranby, Nottinghamshire and of messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments in Bilby, Ranby and Babworth; redeemable on repayment of the £400 with interest at a rate of £4.10s. per centum per annum; includes usual covenants and provisos.
Recitals: (a) bargain and sale dated 15 Nov. 1734 being a deed to lead uses of a common recovery of the property in question; (b) fact that the common recovery was accordingly suffered; (c) indenture dated 20 Jun. 1738 by which the property was appointed to new uses, namely to the use of William Levinz the elder for life, afterwards to Eyre and Simpson in trust for 300 years for the use of William Levinz rhe younger and his heirs; (d) fact that William Levinz the elder has occasion to borrow £400 and wishes it to be raised by mortgage of the property comprised in the term of 300 years. |
