Covenant between (1) and (2) that (1) will pay (2) the sum of £100 quarterly; (2) covenants to employ the money for the maintenance of Clumber Church and for the employment of a chaplain there; agreement that on 30 May 1942 or the death of the duke, whichever comes first, all payments will cease.
Recitals: (a) details of the will of the late 7th Duke of Newcastle under Lyne; (b) fact that under the provisions of the will (1) has only a contingent interest the property settled; (c) fact that by an agreement dated 5 Apr. 1927 between the late duke and (2), (2) is in possession of Clumber Church; (d) fact that (1) wishes to make quarterly payments towards the maintenance of the church. |
