Lease [Ne 6 D 2/13/20] and release [Ne 6 D 2/13/21] from (1) to (2) of the manor of Clumber, Nottinghamshire, and also of a messuage with appurtenances in Clumber, in the parish of Worksop, Nottinghamshire together with all tithes of hay, previously all part of the dissolved monastery of Worksop; also of a further messuage with appurtenances in Clumber, previously belonging to the dissolved priory of Newstead; also of closes of land in Clumber known as the Rough Close, the Common Piece; 47a lying on the south side of the River Palter [Poulter], and several woods known as Warwood and Kartagwood; contains usual covenants.
Recites that some of the deeds and writings relating to the property for the title of (1), show that the property is charged with an annuity of £50. for the provision or maintenance of an organist and six choristers in the parish church of Prestbury, Cheshire [see Ne 6 D 2/13/12]; for the indemnification (2), (1) covenants to secure (2) from any payments arising from the annuity.
