Second Party: Richard Legh, esquire of Adlington, Cheshire, brother of (1).

Deed of covenant between (1) and (2) to allow (2) the right to enjoy liberty for the pasture of two horses in Whiteley Hey Park, Adlington; also that (2) may, on the death of the present keeper, during his lifetime, enjoy with his family the right to inhabit the lodge of the park, providing that he provides a fitting and convenient apartment for a new park keeper; further covenant by (2) that he will not take advantage of a bond of £2000. entered into by (1) and Thomas Legh, his late father.

The document is dated 28 Jan. 2 William and Mary; this has been equated to 1690 on the document but is correctly 1691.
