As far as possible the group has roughly been arranged as follows:
Newcastle estate accounts before the death of the 7th Duke; accounts of the Newcastle estates and the Executors/Trustees of the 7th Duke of Newcastle following his death [in May 1928]; accounts relating to both the Trustees/Executors of the 7th Duke and the London and Fort George Land Company; and lastly accounts relating solely to the London and Fort George Land Company.
There is also an account ledger for the Hope Settled Estates, and a volume detailing various insurance policies. |
