The account also includes a record of payments from the estates from 25 March 1885 to 25 March 1886, for land and income tax, repairs, tithes, and other sundries; this is available from p 62.
Within the section of payments, there are some details of expenses relating to the central Clumber Estate [Clumber Park] [scattered from p 86]; these include purchases made for the park, house and garden, and details concerning the restoration of the mansion, for example.
Of particular interest, there is mention of lands purchased on p 79.
The overall annual balance sheet can be found on pp 154-155; this provides an abstract of the receipts and payments for 1885/1886 for the estates and indicates that the balance was £69,875.2.6..
