Of particular interest, there is record of money received and advanced on account of the building of an incorporated workhouse at Upton [pp 32 and 58].
Account also includes details of payments from the estates from 25 September 1824 to 25 September 1825, for taxes such as income tax and land tax, tithes, repairs, and sundries such as draining the land and altering fences; these are also arranged by individual estate [including Normanton].

Details of occasional payments and expenses, such as for the purchase of estates, can be found on p 49.
Also available [from p 50] is a summary of payments from the central Clumber Estate [Clumber Park], including: repair expenses, for example for sawing stone; an account of gamekeepers' wages and allowances; expenses relating to Clumber Gardens, such as payment for labour, and purchase of candles and tobacco; record of the purchase of coals and timber; details of planting expenses; an account of gratuities; and finally an account of miscellaneous payments, such as for stamps, for example.
The account includes details of expenditure relating to Egmanton, and Walesby and Willoughby Enclosures [pp 68-69], and to Haughton and Hardwick Farms [Hardwick Grange?] [p 67].
The annual balance sheet can be found on pp 72-73; this provides an abstract of the receipts and payments for 1824/1825 and indicates that the balance was £29,700.1.8 1/2.
