Account [which can be found on pp 37-51] contains details of payments from the estates from 1820 to 1821, for taxes such as income tax and land tax, tithes, repairs, and sundries such as looking after the woods; these are also arranged by individual estate.
Also available [from p 42] is a summary of payments from the central Clumber Estate [Clumber Park], including: repair expenses, for example for nails and cement; an account of gamekeepers' wages and allowances; expenses relating to Clumber Gardens, such as sweeping of flues, and the purchase of seeds; an account of gratuities; and finally an account of miscellaneous payments, such as travelling expenses and postage of parcels, for example.
The annual balance sheet can be found on p 51; this provides an abstract of the receipts and payments for 1821 and indicates that the balance was £18,795.19.2 1/2.
