Also available [from p 61] is a summary of payments from the central Clumber Estate [Clumber Park], including: repair expenses, for example painting and plastering; an account of gamekeepers' wages and allowances; expenses relating to Clumber Gardens, such as the purchase of potatoes; an account of gratuities; details concerning Hardwick Farm [Grange?] [p 72]; and finally an account of miscellaneous payments, for carriage of timber and for subscription to the races, for example.
The annual balance sheet can be found on pp 74-75; this provides an abstract of the receipts and payments for 1817 and indicates that the balance was £35,264.0.2.
