Comments briefly on the postal service; expresses her unease at selling and moving house whilst she is still too ill to take an active part; mentions her inability to attend 'the Banquet'; Esther [Bright] stayed with her while Mrs M[acLeod] and her [Priscilla's] brothers attended; states that according to Margaret Lucas and Caroline Coultate it was a 'glorious meeting', John Bright's was the second best speech, and Mrs Villiers 'looked beautiful and was well received'; recounts that her father [Jacob Bright] helped her walk a little way towards 'One Ash'.
