Content Description
Acknowledges Keith Sagar's article which he found very interesting and confirms the authenticity of the information Sagar was given by them; comments on Frieda's memory of Lawrence's suffering when writing of his mother's death [in December 1910], which in turn affected her; also 'he told her if his mother had lived she would not have let him love her - Frieda'; asks if he may retain the article as an aid for his own talk on D.H. Lawrence to the Eastwood Historical Society; signed as S. and A.M. Bircumshaw.
