Content DescriptionAddressed to 'Dear Sir'; thanks him for the Lawrence book; encloses postcard of Zennor, The Tinners' Arms is marked with an X [not present, see La Z 8/1/1/65]; provides sketch map of the Tinners' Arms building; he [Hirst] did not obtain any information from Mr [William] Hocking, had much of it in his notes on the parish compiled for his history of Zennor; has found that 'Kangaroo' throws light on the history of Zennor during the [first world] war; comments on a meeting with William Hocking who does not wish to provide details about D.H. Lawrence and his time in Zennor.
