Lawrence's novel 'Kangaroo'] is probably a Merryman and he [Hirst] will make enquiries about John Thomas Merryman in the village [Zennor]; suggests sending him [Hirst] a copy of the October [1930] 'Adelphi' so that he can go about obtaining information about D.H.
