Content Description	Writes while on a trip across the cliffs to Ventnor; describes the display of warships out at sea; send regards to Nina [Nina Stewart]; enquires why she should want to copy the 'Cupid' [short story 'Cupid and the Puppy']; signed 'D.H.L.' Bears a green half-penny stamp, postmarked in Ventnor at 8pm, 2 Aug 1909. Verso bears black and white photograph of the bay at Shanklin, Isle of Wight, one of the Valentine's series of postcards.
