Content Description	Discusses his College work and the criticism he received from 'Madame' [probably Edith Mary Becket]; asks whether she [Louie] is going to contribute to the 'Gong' [University College magazine] which he describes as a 'mediocre' publication; mentions that Jessie Chambers is unwell; her sister May [Muriel May Chambers] is to be married on Tuesday, and he plans to attend; discusses his efforts at writing essays and offers to look at her own attempt. Dated by Louie Burrows' own typed transcript of this letter; see La B 243/3/1.
