Content DescriptionTells her that he will, after all, have to honour his arrangement and visit T.A.S. [Thomas Alfred Smith] in Lincoln; asks her to visit Ada [Ada Lawrence], saying that his aunt [Ada Rose Krenkow] is 'rather seriously ill'; signed 'D.H. Lawrence'.

The verso of the card is blank, being addressed to Miss Louie Burrows at Coteshael, Cheveney Lane, Quorn, Loughboro; bears a green half-penny stamp, postmarked in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire at 12.45 pm, 22 Aug 1911.
