Content Description	The cassettes were produced by the D.H. Lawrence Society and the original inserts to the boxes were given running numbers between 1 and 57 (representing La Av 1/7/1-34). The tapes appear to be in the approximate order in which the lectures were given to Society meetings between 1977 and around 1990. Some numbers are missing from the sequence, suggesting that other recordings were made but became separated from this sequence. Further tapes were added to the sequence without running numbers, containing recordings after around 1990, and some earlier recordings. Most of the CDs are digital versions of cassette tapes in the same series.
