Content Description	Three small pencils believed to have belonged to D.H. Lawrence; two are regular in size and the third is a thin pencil similar to the type which often accompanies diaries or notebooks. From the collection of Lawrence's nephew Jack [John Lawrence Clarke, son of D.H. Lawrence's sister Ada]; contained within a small brown envelope endorsed 'Uncle Bert's Pencils'.
