Robert Reid left Eastwood for Pendleton, Lancashire]; mentions a visit to Hampstead, but is not sure whether he will take Louie [Burrows] with him; is glad that he has offended Aunt Ada by writing her a stinging letter; and discusses other business, including the Siegmund book and the 'Alice Hall business'; signed 'With my heart's love DHL'.

Includes a black edged envelope (La Av 1/1/66/2) addressed to Miss L.A. Lawrence, Lynn Croft, Eastwood, Notts; bears two green half penny stamps postmarked in Croydon at 11.15am 8 Mar. 1911; the verso also bears a postmark in Eastwood Nottingham dated 9 Mar. 1911.
