Content Description	Addresses her as 'My dear Sister'; discusses the recent visit from 'Pamela' [Emily King] and her daughter 'Peg' [Margaret Emily]; complains that Sam [Emily's husband] isn't fit to run his shop; discusses the 'instinctive homosexuality' of all young English women; sends thanks for the eiderdown; sympathizes with Bertie [Ada's son] about his schooling making him 'a prisoner'; informs her that they leave for Baden-Baden on 17 [Sep.], but he doesn't think he will come to England as planned, and will probably go to the south of France with Else [Jaffe], Richard Aldington and 'Arabella' [Dorothy Yorke] instead; speculates that Frieda will probably go to England to see Dorothy Warren's exhibition of his paintings, and advises her not to go because she 'won't like the things. Best leave 'em alone'; signed 'Love. DHL'.
