Content DescriptionGa 2 E 457/1: Letter informing Galway that he is unable to attend the meeting at Nottingham next Thursday. States that as an old Whig, he can't agree with Mr Gladstone's policies here, In Ireland or abroad. Will be very glad to offer his support to any any resolution at the meeting which may "upset the present or any other Radical Government". Invites Galway to visit, and that he may like to meet FitzRoy Stewart, who is the secretary for the Conservative Association.
