Content DescriptionShe is glad that his eyes are better and that he decided not to go to Welbeck. Is loving every minute spent in South Africa. They dined with Sir Abe Bailey at a house formerly belonging to Cecil Rhodes, other guests included Lady Cromer [Katherine Baring, Countess of Cromer], and Jack Wilson. Reports that Princess Alice and her husband the Earl of Athlone had a 'Tamasha', and discusses some of the guests. Can't believe how many people know Geoff, and barely feels like they are abroad at all. They hope to sail in the "Arundel Castle" to Durban and Natal. Speculates about future travel plans.
