Content DescriptionInforms her father that they have arrived [In Cape Town]. Complains that they had made reservations for the Queen's Hotel at Sea Point, but their rooms had been given away, so they are now staying at Hotel Bordeaux instead. Is feeling much better, her heart pains have gone and she is able to walk about again. They have visited Cape Town a few times, and attended the horse racing, but it was very dusty.

Visited Government House, but [the Governor] is at Westbrook, another residence. The Byngs have arrived. States that Talta[?] has kindly written to Sir Abe Bailey asking for help with Denys.
