Content DescriptionInforms him that they enjoyed their 4 day trip down the Nile from Luxor to Assiut [Asyut]. The river was very low and they got stuck on a sand bank. Found out that they need special passports for Greece and Constantinople. Describes their visit to the museum to see the artefacts from the tomb of Tutankhamun which have recently arrived, and a visit to see the barrage gardens on the Nile. Informs him that they leave on saturday for Alexandria, where they sail for Rhodes and Constantinople, then Venice.
