Content DescriptionArrived in Whitby yesterday. Has been to see the Khyber Pass and the shops. They have brought so much luggage that he Violet, Mademoiselle and Carrie had to get out of the carriage and walk.

Includes illustration of a young girl riding a donkey at the seaside.

Note that this the writer of this letter is not identified, it has previously been ascribed to Violet Skeffington-Smyth, but the content of the letter suggests that it was probably written by her brother George V.A. Monckton-Arundell [later 8th Viscount Galway].
