Letter from Edward Buchan[?], The Hague, Holland to George Edmund Milnes Monckton-Arundell, 7th Viscount Galway; 25 July 1862
25 July 1862
Sorry to hear that Galway's Governor has been ill. Had a beastly passage [to The Hague] and had to escourt his 4 sisters, younger brother and a maid. Suspects that there will be nothing to do at The Hague other than ride. Hopes that Bentinck will invite him to the shooting again. Enquires about Galway's plans for the summer.
Ga 2 E 114/2: Envelope addressed to 'the Hon. George Monckton, Mrs de Rosen's'.
