Content DescriptionAgrees to present Lord Galway's petition against the Great Northern Railway Deviation Bill to the House of Commons; says that he has already done Galway a good turn in the matter and has told the Directors how injurious it will be to Galway and Mr Walker; fears that the alternative will be a serious injury to the Marton property, but where the residence of a friend and neighbour is concerned he will not be selfish; thinks that he will be able to get the matter quietly arranged to Galway's satisfaction.
