Lawrence; this group comprises a general correspondence file (For F 1), arranged alphabetically, and individual correspondence files for principal correspondents (For F 2-17); principal correspondents include Keith Cushman, Gerald Lacy, Gerald Pollinger, Professor Warren Roberts, Keith Sagar, Professor John Worthen and Professor J.T. Boulton.
For F 2 - Papers relating to W. Forster's membership of D.H. Lawrence Societies; includes papers relating to the Eastwood D.H. Lawrence Society (For F 2/1) the D.H. Lawrence Society London Group (For F 2/2) and the D.H. Lawrence Society of North America (For F 2/3).
For F 3 - Working papers; includes Forster's own lists of D.H. Lawrence items for sale.
For F 4 - Papers relating to sales and auctions of D.H. Lawrence material; includes booksellers catalogues and auction catalogues, collected by W. Forster.
For F 5 - Catalogue cards prepared by W. Forster to catalogue and document his D.H. Lawrence collection.
For F 6 - Correspondence and other ephemeral papers of W. Forster, relating to his collection of Richard Aldington material.
For F 7 - Papers of Keith Sagar, relating to the Cambridge University Press edition of the Letters of D.H. Lawrence.
For F 8 - Miscellaneous papers of W. Forster relating to his D.H. Lawrence interests.
