Content DescriptionReports that the Prussian minister has received a message from Prince Gorchakov stating that if a conference is held, it's object will not simply be to register Russia's declaration, but to place the peace of the East on a more secure footing; Prince Gorchakov is happy for the conference to be held in London; this concession appears to have been made at the request of Prince Reus; feels that Prince Gorchakov really wanted it to be held in St Petersburg.
