Content DescriptionReports that the Austrian minister has been told he has to wait a few days to see Prince Gorchakov; the Austrian minister received a telegram from Count Beust, explaining that delay is due to the Russian Circular having been received at Vienna; fortunately for Count Beust, Count Chotek was thus prevented from reading a despatch to Prince Gorchakov in which he stated that he could support Russia's views regarding the Christian populations of Turkey, but not those regarding the Black Sea.
