Content DescriptionReports that the Emperor has asked Rustem Bey to inform the Sultan that he had complete confidence in the Sultan's treatment of his Christian subjects; the Sultan has thanked the Emperor for his friendly sentiments, and assured him that he would continue to direct his efforts into promoting the well-being of all his subjects, regardless of nationality, religious faith and ritual observances.
