Content Description	Concerns articles which have appeared in various Spanish newspapers and ministerial papers commenting unfavourably on the debt owed by Spain to Great Britain; discusses one article which reported that a British statesman had made comments to a foreign minister which were 'entirely inconsistent with statements made to the British Parliament by the Government of which he was a member'; reports that Calderón Collantes stated that his Government could not be held responsible for such articles as they had not been submitted to them for approval before publication; reports that another article appeared in the Epoca newspaper probably a result of a conversation that took place with Mr Collantes last year.
