Content DescriptionDiscusses the debt owed by Spain to Great Britain for arms; reveals the report carried out by the Commission is awaiting the approval of Calderón Collantes; reports that all arms and stores supplied 'are acknowledged to have been received, with the exception of 1000 rifles'; reveals some muskets may have been received from Gibraltar and subsequently paid for and this matter will be discussed with the Spanish Government; refers to the charge of five per cent which has been added to the cost of the arms and ordnance stores supplied and explains why it was added; reveals that a reduction of ten per cent will be offered on the whole amount in order to persuade the Spanish Government to settle the debt in one instalment on the 1st January next year.
