Content DescriptionReveals Calderón Collantes has been urged to accept the answer of the Sultan of Morocco to the original Spanish Ultimatum regarding the offences committed at Ceuta by the Khabyles of Angera; reveals that if the answer regarding the additional claim for an increase in territory around Ceuta has not been received within the specified time, 'hostilities would be commenced'; reveals the British Government has requested a delay of ten days in order for the Moorish Government to address this additional demand; explains assurances have been given by Calderón Collantes that no further demands would be made; explains that 'in the opinion of Her Majesty's Government a new Boundary for Ceuta could not properly be insisted upon as a condition of peace'.
