Content Description
Concerns Govenor Chacon of the island of Fernando Po, who has prohibited all public worship unless Roman Catholic; reports the Spanish press have said that foreign powers have no right to interfere in the matter; reports that some articles have criticized the Catholic Church for imposing her domination upon a population she has neglected for a number of years and which has been converted to Christianity; explains Mr Comyn has been informed of these events; reveals there is a possibility that the inhabitants may start leaving the island.
