Refers to a note sent to Calderón Collantes complaining that the garrison of Tarifa has fired a shot at the mailboat 'Indus' because she was not flying her flag, even though the ship's log states that she was; reveals the testimony of her passengers and crew has been denied by the men on the fortress; reports that Mr Collantes has given his assurances that this type of incident will not happen again.
