Content DescriptionReports that 3,000 men, and a number of warships, are due to sail for Cuba in early October, where they will join a small squadron and a force of 12,000 men prepared by General Concha for sailing to Mexico, to demand redress of Spanish grievances; a squadron will also sail to the African coast and reinforcements are to be despatched to the garrisons of Ceuta and Melilla; he will request more information from the Queen.
