Content DescriptionReports that yellow fever has broken out at Ferrol, and therefore the Queen is likely to cut short her tour; two months previously the war steamer Isabella II returned from Havana to Cadiz with a healthy crew, then a few days later conveyed the Minister of Marine to Ferrol that the disease broke out and eight people on board died; strict sanitary measures have been adopted to try to prevent the disease from spreading into the town or along the coast.
