Content DescriptionReports he was enclosing a copy of a letter received from Drummond-Hay setting out Moroccan objections to the ceding of territory to Spain, which he believed to be well founded, and that he had sent a copy to Calderon Collantes; comments on peace negotiations with reference to Tetuan, the Canary Islands, Tangier and the Straits of Gibraltar and the attitudes of O'Donnell, Mr Comyn and the Sultan of Morocco; refers to the Queen of Spain and earlier reports that she would recall the army to assist the Pope.
