Content DescriptionReports he had received a letter from Drummond-Hay stating if the Spanish Government showed patience, Morocco would meet its demands; informs him he had addressed Calderon Collantes on the subject and that they had discussed public opinion in Spain; the Spanish had extended their ultimatum until 16 Oct and were awaiting the Sultan's reply; forwards Mr Drummond-Hay's letter and states Calderon Collantes wished to satisfy the interests of his country whilst maintaining peace.
