Content DescriptionReports on public opinion in Madrid, stating that there would be a desire for action against Morocco if Spanish demands were not met; informs him of the Queen's attitude which was 'pro Spanish' and states he had written to Calderon Collantes on the subject; feared there may be a serious war in Morocco.

PS Informs him the Spanish government wished to gain territory to provide for the security of Ceuta.
