Content Description	Informs him that he had spoken to Calderon Collantes about recent attacks on the fort of Ceuta and had told him the contents of consul Reade's despatches and that a British naval force had been sent to Gibraltar; comments on demands and counter demands between the Spanish government and the Moorish minister Khateeb; discusses the succession of Muhammad II as Sultan of Morocco, the reporting of Spanish intentions against Morocco in the Spanish press and British objections to a Spanish occupation of Tangier, which might affect the supplies to the garrison of Gibraltar.
