Content Description	Informs him that he read his [Malmesbury's] despatch to Calderon Collnates; comments on Spanish claims for compensation against the Sultan of Morocco for 'outrages committed by his Rif subjects' with reference to the opinion of Drummond-Hay; reports that the Sultan of Morocco was sending troops from Tangier to secure the release of Spanish prisoners and that Drummond-Hay considered the seizure of Rif vessels had reduced their chances of safe release; mentions the possible return of a cannon taken from the garrison of Melilla.
