Content DescriptionInforms him that delays in communications have been caused by Mr de Bluhme's holiday and the Royal tour; gives details of a confidential discussion with de Bluhme on the Sound Dues, and of complaints of shipping agencies at Elsinore; states that the King will defend the imposition of Sound Dues; reports that Sweden, Prussia and possibly Russia are to actively promote their abolition and that Britain will not be able to ignore this; states that he will converse with his colleagues on the subject; informs him of the arrival of M. Dal Bargo; gives details of Prince Christian's new allowance and property which was currently occupied by Sir Henry Wynn; reports that the Governor of St Croix has been removed from office.

Postscript requests that Clarendon informs him of any complaints about Sound Dues.
