Content DescriptionInforms him that the closure of Klek had upset the Turkish Government and that Zichy was ashamed of the actions of his government; questions how long the neutrality of the powers would be maintained; reports that Ignatiev was saying that the British and Russian Governments had agreed on their policy; informs him the Catholic population would prefer to remain under Turkish rather than Serbian control; comments on the new Turkish Ambassador in Vienna, who was viewed by everyone as a 'donkey' and states Andrassy would soon tire of him.
