Content DescriptionStates that Sweden seemed to be ready to go to war and hoped to secure the support of both the Swedish army and her gunboats; asks if he thought Denmark would follow the example set by Sweden and join England and France in the war with Russia; feared that the pro-Russian influences in Denmark would mean she remained neutral; agreed that he should not have any political relations with 'the king's wife' [Countess Danner]; expresses disapproval at the actions of the King of Prussia and feared for Austria as she was sandwiched between the Prussian and Russian powers.
