Content DescriptionAsks him to continue to send intelligence about the fleet; informs him that Napier had written to complain about his problems; feared that the Baltic campaign would be difficult if the Russian fleet did not come out to fight and it was true that the forts were impregnable; comments on the new Danish ministry which he hoped would be more favourable than the old to Britain; states that Oxholm was a gentleman but unable to break free of the influence of the Emperor [of Russia].
