Content DescriptionInforms him that his letter was forwarded from Bombay; he is visiting his 'chief', Sir John Lawrence on whose character he makes a great number of comments; further discussion of the personalities of Lady Lawrence and Sir W Mansfield; informs him that he [Napier] and Lawrence both support Milutines [Milyutin's] policy; he [Napier] was glad to hear of the success of the visit of the Prince of Wales but disappointed in reports of his poor behaviour in Berlin; sends 'affectionate regards' to Lady Buchanan.
