Content Description	Comments on Mansfield's report that a war between Russia and Austria was not impossible; states that this was surprising despite the ill feeling which existed between the two countries over Poland and Galicia; informs him that Fane had reported that Moustier and his government were to take a firm line with Turkey and that Moustier saw the annexation of Crete to Greece as a necessity; the French Ambassador had told him that the Emperor wished to take out a large loan to be spent on public works.
