Content DescriptionThanks him for information on precautionary measures taken in light of military activity in Poland; states that Russia would not keep pace in terms of organisation in the first few weeks of war, unless it was fought against England and France; states that the Emperor was unlikely to visit Warsaw and that Milyutin did not wish him to come although Tchukasky did; informs him that the harvest looked promising and refers to the Polish agricultural policy of 'undercutting' the rest of the Empire.
